SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Santa
Barbara Police have concluded their investigation into Harding University
Partnership School's principal and forwarded the case to the District Attorney's
office, according to the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's
office.
The Santa Barbara Police
Department did not recommend any criminal charges be filed.
Principal Nuh Kimbwala was placed
on administrative leave a few months back and was investigated for an allegation
of misdemeanor child abuse of a non-sexual nature.
The incident was initially
reported to Santa Barbara County Child Welfare Services, which then recommended
that the school file a police report instead.
Now, the District Attorney's
office is reviewing the case to decide if they will file any charges.
