Maly Marketing is excited to announce it is one of the recipients of the 2012 Best of Best Learning Event from the ASTD Lincoln Chapter. Steve Maly received the award for the Social Media Toolkit workshop he presented along with with Blake Lawrence of Hurrdat and Diane Siefkes of Southeast Community College. The three have worked in tandem over the years to present the importance and effectiveness social media can bring to businesses of any size.
The three-hour workshop covered LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, including platform overviews as well as techniques to use the channels effectively. Siefkes led the discussion on LinkedIn and Lawrence presented the relevance of Twitter. Maly presented on Facebook. His presentation included statistics, functionalities, and methods to increase likes as well as a six-step process to implementing a social media plan.
“Presenting at the ASTD event was a great experience,” stated Steve Maly, activist. “You could feel the energy and excitement from the crowd. Each of us gave them tangible solutions and tactics that they could immediately integrate into their social media strategies to increase their online exposure.”
