Valero Gas Station in Salinas Robbed at Gunpoint, Suspect on the - KCOY Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo - News

SALINAS, Calif. -- A man armed with a shotgun robbed a gas station on East Alisal in Salinas on Sunday, according to Salinas Police.

Police say the clerk of the Valero Gas Station was standing outside when he saw a male in all black walk into the store. The victim walked in, and saw the susepct was wearing a mask and was armed with a shotgun,so the clerk ran from the store without confronting the suspect.

According to police, it appears the suspect fled the scene without any money. If you have any information, you're urged to call Salinas Police.
