MONTEREY, Calif.- The SPCA for Monterey County is asking for your help locating a dog's puppies after SPCA officials rescued the golden retriever in the intersection of General Jim Moore and Lightfighter Drive on Jan 15.

MARINA, Calif.- It's a happy reunion for a Golden Retriever and her pups. Molly, whose real name is Rusty, was found in the intersection of General Jim Moore and Lightfighter Drive on Jan 15. Officials could tell that Rusty had just given birth and were desperate to find her puppies.

Last week SPCA for Monterey County Shelter Manager Jenny Sherwood and Pet Behavior Specialist Amanda Mouisset took Rusty back to the area in an effort to locate her puppies. But they were unable to find them. That is because Rusty is actually from Prunedale and her puppies weren't the ones who were far from home.

Some how Rusty got lost and made her way to Seaside. According to the SPCA for Monterey County, Rusty has been reunited with her puppies and her owners, who were all happy to be together again.
