SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Santa Barbara County Fire Department says the prescribed burn slated for Tuesday will be delayed due to weather conditions.
The Air Resources Board declared a no burn status for the area.
The burn was scheduled to begin around 9am on the Bar-M Ranch, approximately two miles south of Los Alamos.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department has coordinated and assisted the Range Improvement Association for many years on similar projects. The burns offer training opportunities to Fire Department personnel.
Officials say weather conditions are expected to change later this week that will be more favorable to conduct the burn.
