SLO Police Looking for Transient Suspects Wanted in Attack of a 26 Year Old

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - San Luis Obispo Police are looking for two transient men who attacked another man who was walking near Mission Plaza late Monday night and a transient woman who may have been involved.

According to the Police report: At 10pm, 26 year old Gareth Morgan was walking in the area of Mission Plaza. While he was walking he was attacked by two suspects described as "transient" by witnesses. Both suspects were described as white males in their mid 20's. One was wearing a blue crew sweatshirt and the other a grey hooded sweatshirt. Associated with the two male suspects was a female (also described as transient) who had two dogs with her described as a pit bull and a "shaggy" type of dog.

The witnesses were able to yell at the suspects as they approached. The suspects and the female fled the scene. At the time of the attack the victim was in possession of a backpack and wallet. These items were missing and not recovered at the scene. It is believed the items were taken by the suspects.

MORGAN suffered moderate injuries to include cuts to his face and a possible concussion. He was transported to Sierra Vista Hospital for evaluation.
