SANTA CRUZ--Police were called last night to reports of a fight in the area of Laurel St. and Cedar St. involving three people.
The call came in around 10:15 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with two stab wounds. During initial questioning, the victim told officers he was attacked by two Hispanic males. But those statements conflicted with what witnesses had reported seeing.
Investigators discoved a loaded firearm and blood in a neighboring front yard.
