Robbery in Marina

MARINA, Calif.-- Marina Police are investigating a robbery that happened Saturday afternoon on the 3100 block of Nicklas Lane.

The victim, a 53-year-old man says he was in the area to look at a car that he was thinking about buying.

When the seller went inside the home, the victim says an Hispanic man assaulted him and took his wallet or an unknown amount of money. The suspect then drove off a light lime green colored vehicle, possibly a Honda Civic.

The suspect was described as  5'10" to 6'0" tall, 250-260 pounds, with light colored skin and a round face. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts and black shoes and a black beanie cap.

The victim has moderate facial injuries and was taken to hospital in the Bay Area for treatment.
