Two Alarm Structure Fire Caused by Fire Ashes

SOLVANG, Calif. -- A two alarm fire that broke out just before 10:15 Tuesday night was caused by fire ashes disposed of improperly according to Santa Barbara County Fire.

County Fire responded to a residential structure fire on Roskilde, in Solvang.

When they got to the fire, firefighters found two garages burning with the fire threatening a two story condo complex.

The fire did spread to the exterior and attic of the condo. Firefighters knocked down the fire in the garage area first, then extinguished the fire in the condo at 10:58 PM.

No one was hurt in the fire.
