Approval Rating for Governor Brown Soars to Record High

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Governor Jerry Brown's public approval rating is the highest it's ever been.

A new poll published Wednesday by the Public Policy Institute of California says 51% of California adults and 50% of likely voters approve of the job he's doing.

His approval rating was 41% when he took office in 2011 and 46% a year ago.
