Judge Sets Preliminary Hearing For Man Accused Of Sex With Minor

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- The man accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl in a car in Santa Maria appeared in court Thursday.

A judge wouldn't allow Central Coast News to video the 19-year-old suspect Ricardo Flores with restraints.

At this time, he has not entered a plea but his preliminary hearing is set for next Thursday.

Flores was arrested after Santa Maria police caught him with the minor in a car. Flores gave a false name and date of birth at the time of the arrest.
