Police: Three Men Arrested For Trying to Sell Drugs In Front of Their Babies

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- Three men are behind bars after police say they were trying to sell drugs right in front of their babies.

"That's the worst thing that could you could imagine of having something like that in our little neighborhood," said Bob Voglin, a neighbor.

Those who live on Woodside Drive are in disbelief, learning they live next to what police are calling a drug house with children inside.

"It's ridiculous to have the narcotics especially in reach of these children, where they don't have an idea of what they're coming into contact with," said Sergeant Jeff Booth, San Luis Obispo Police.

Police say when they pulled up to this home Thursday, they found two men, Salomon Villar and Abad Perez, along with a one and two-year-old inside a car with meth and marijuana.

"The two kids that were in the vehicle they were turned over to child welfare services," explained Booth.

When detectives returned to the home, they found more meth, cocaine and more than a thousand dollars worth of cash, along with a two-year-old and the child's father, Eriberto Cosme Lopez-Moreno.

"That child was actually returned over to a family member," said Booth.

A woman pulled up to the same house Friday evening with a young girl, but wouldn't talk. Neighbors say they just want the drugs off their street.

"I hope when they get back they move away, and I certainly hope someone is taking care of their children," said Voglin.

Stolen property was also found inside the home. All three suspects are booked in San Luis Obispo County Jail facing a number of charges including child endangerment.
