Fatal Crash in Gilroy

GILROY, Calif.--Gilroy Police and Fire are investigating a single-vehicle accident that happened just before three Saturday morning, on the 83-hundred block of Monterey St.

The car was on its roof after having collided with some sign posts.

The 20-year-old driver, from San Martin, CA, was the only person in the car.

She was taken to the hospital where she later died.

The factors leading to the cause of the collision are currently under investigation.
