Body Found On Santa Cruz Island Of Missing Diver Identified

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. -- New information on the body of a missing diver found on the north side of Santa Cruz Island.

He's been identified as 59-year-old William Arlo Ooms of Solvang.

Searchers said the diver was reported missing from the 22-foot dive boat Coram Deo out of Santa Barbara.

His body was recovered by Los Angeles County divers and two Coast Guard patrol boats.

Investigators are looking into the cause and manner of his death.
