SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- The former bus driver for the Lucia Mar School District arrested on drug charges had her preliminary hearing continued to later this month.
Attorneys for 31-year-old April Nunez asked for more time to review the case.
Nunez has pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing a controlled substance for sale.
Nunez was arrested while driving a school bus at a traffic stop and police had them take her to her personal car, where they say they found the drugs.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 26.
