San Luis Obispo To Hold Vote-By-Mail Election for City Council Seat

Posted: Updated:

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- The San Luis City Council left empty by Andrew Carter, who begins as Guadalupe's City Manager on February 12, will be filled by a special vote-by-mail election.

The San Luis Obispo City Council voted four to zero at Tuesday night's council meeting to hold the election rather than go through the appointment process.

The election will cost the city more than $62,000.
