Pedestrian Crosswalk Sting Planned in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- A pedestrian crosswalk sting is scheduled this week in Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara City Police will be out on Milpas Street, near Ortega and Yanonali Streets.

Recently, flashing lights were installed to help with traffic safety since the area has been keen to problems in the past. In order to raise awareness at these crosswalks, police will conduct pedestrian crosswalk enforcement actions in the area Thursday.
