U.S. Postal Offices Cutting Saturday Services

Posted: Updated:

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - You may be waiting longer to get your mail because U.S. Post Offices have announced they will stop their Saturday services.

The Postmaster General has announced that first class mail will no longer be delivered on Saturdays, starting in August.  They made the decision to save about two billion dollars a year.

The U.S. Postal Service has delivered mail six days a week for the past 150 years.
