Woman Hit Crossing the Street near Applebee's

SALINAS, Calif. - Two lanes of Davis Road near Applebee's were closed Friday afternoon as Salinas Police investigated an accident involving a pedestrian.

According to police, a woman was crossing the street when she was hit by a pick-up truck. She was flown to a bay area hospital with major injuries. At this time we have not been able to confirm if she was in a cross walk or not.

The driver of the pick-up was not injured.
