Mother Begs For Answers in Son's Death, After Being Shot to Death

Posted: Updated:

SANTA MARIA, Calif.- One mother is begging for someone to step forward with information on her son's death.

"Somebody had to see something or hear something," said Elizabeth Vallejo, the victim's mother.

Elizabeth Vallejo's world turned upside down on April 30th 2011, after her son, 25-year-old Paulino Pommier, was found shot to death on the 900 block of west Cook Street.

"My son didn't deserve this...whoever did this to my son I want them to pay for it," said Vallejo.

Fast forward two years later, the pain of her son's death is still very much alive, as she continues to wait for answers.

"I want to know who did this. Why? Why did they do this to my son?!" questioned Vallejo.

Vallejo says she's been living a nightmare and is reminded everyday when she passes the spot where her son was murdered.

"It will never be the same," cried Vallejo.

At the time of the murder, investigators had little to work with. The only real lead, Pommier had been shot once.

"When you just find somebody lying on the sidewalk, no witnesses, no obvious clues on the scene, so somewhere out there likely knows what happened and will come forward," said Sergeant Howard Coolidge, Santa Maria Police Department.

For Vallejo, she prays she'll soon have justice for her son.

"He just told me he loved me and I go I love you too son, I love you too and that was the last time I talked to him," said Vallejo.

At this time, investigators say there are no new leads. If you know anything about this case contact Santa Maria Police Department at (805) 928-3781.
