SOLVANG, Calif. -- A course is being offered for free at the Solvang Library for anyone who is looking to transition into a new job.
The workshop, "Finding the Right Job" A Career Workshop" will be held on Fridays February 22, March 1 and March 8 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Consultant and author Marianne Minor will lead all three one-hour sessions about how to manage a job search.
You can attend all three or just one of the workshops at the Solvang Library at 1745 Mission Drive in Solvang.
Each session will have a different focus.
The first session on Friday, February 22, will focus on analyzing skills and strengths in the job market. That will help establish short and long-term goals.
The second session on Friday, March 1, will focus on analyzing accomplishments, defining possible career paths, building a resume and securing interviews.
The last session on Friday, March 8, will focus on preparing for and partaking in the interview process.
