SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. -- On Wednesday Santa Cruz County Sheriff's detectives arrested Carl Guerin for lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14-year old and indecent exposure.
Investigators said Guerin was arrested on multiple charges for touching children that he was acquainted with.
Officers said Guerin works for the Scotts Valley Unified School District and works as the Director of Technology. Deputies said He does not supervise or have access to any of the students in the schools and believe the children involved in his crimes were only of children that he knew separate from the school.
Deputies said they started investigating Guerin in late January for lewd acts against a child. Officers said the follow-up investigation showed that Guerin was involved in additional crimes against other children.
