Car Driving At High Speeds Crashes Into Gonzales Home

GONZALES, Calif.- A car careened off a street, jumped a curb and hit a house on Spumante Way and Champagne Way in Gonzales Wednesday afternoon, according to Gonzales police officers.

Police said two 16-year olds were driving too fast when they hit the curb and landed on the front yard of a home, smashing into the corner wall. One was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Investigators said speed was most likely the cause.

The driver will be charged with reckless driving.

Early reports indicated that a dog was barking inside the garage and animal control was arriving on scene.
