Miami Dolphin Linebacker Felony Charge Now Misdemeanor

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Miami Dolphin linebacker Nawa A Koa Misi had his charge reduced from felony battery with serious bodily injury to a misdemeanor.

Koa Misi broke down a door to an Isla Vista apartment in 2011 and beat up a 19-year-old inside.

According to the Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office, Koa Misi is now on a three-year probation with terms and conditions that include staying away from Isla Vista, 400 hours of community service, obeying all laws, no contact with the victim and 12 sessions of anger management.
