Lawyers, Family Visit Pistorius Amid Murder Charge

PRETORIA, South Africa -- A team of lawyers and members of Oscar Pistorius' family visited the man called South Africa's "blade runner."

The double amputee is being held in police custody after he was charged with the murder of his girlfriend.

The 26-year-old Olympic and Paralympic star stood with his head bowed in front of the magistrate yesterday to hear the murder charge.

The case has stunned a nation that revered "the fastest man on no legs" as a hero who managed to compete at the highest levels.

Pistorius faces life in prison if found guilty.
