Helicopter Down Near Avila Beach After Mechanical Difficulties

AVILA BEACH, Calif. -- The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a helicopter down in the area of Avila Beach and Highway 101 on Saturday.

It happened around 4:30 p.m.

Deputies said the helicopter had mechanical difficulties.

No one was hurt.
