WATSONVILLE, Calif.-- Police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to rape a young woman at the Motel 6 on the 100 block of Silver Leaf Drive in Watsonville.
The victim says the suspect forced her into the laundry room where he pinned her against the wall and tried to attack her. The girl's father came in and fought the suspect off, injuring his knee in the process. The girl was not hurt.
Police continue to search for the suspect who is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic man in his 30's.
