SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- Santa Maria police are still on the lookout for wanted gang member, Ricardo Cruz.
Officers were called out to the 200 block of West Sheila last night around 9 p.m. for a person match Cruz' description.
With guns drawn, officers searched the neighborhood and alley ways but weren't able to find him.
"It's a large are with multiple apartments so the likelihood that he could know somebody in that area and once he sees officers arriving, hide in an apartment, is a possibility or flee the scene potentially," says Santa Maria Police Department Sergeant Marc Schneider.
Cruz is wanted for violating his probation. He was last seen with a handgun and is considered "armed and dangerous".
