Wallace Group is the company of choice for city and county projects from Ventura through Monterey.
The City of Atascadero recently awarded a contract to Wallace Group to design a complete revitalization of the U.S. 101 interchange at Del Rio Road. The project is to handle ongoing and new traffic demands in the area due to the planned construction of a nearby Walmart store. It will include planning and design of three roundabouts, including two at the freeway interchange and another at Del Rio Road and El Camino Real.
Wallace Group is no stranger to solving tricky transportation issues; its engineering, survey and landscape architects were tapped to design and support the construction of the City of Goleta's first roundabout at the Los Carneros and Calle Real intersection. The new single-lane roundabout has been in use since November 2012, improving safety, keeping traffic flowing smoothly and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
