Two Arrested After Residential Burglaries

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - On February 20th around 2:30 AM, police conducted a traffic stop on a silver Ford F-150 truck. The passenger of the truck, later identified as Hattie Davis, jumped out of the truck and tried to flee from officers. She was stopped after a short foot chase.

The driver of the truck was identified as Aaron Kirby, who is on probation for possession of stolen property and weapons violations. After police searched the truck, they found items believed to be stolen from recent residential burglaries, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Kirby was arrested for possession of stolen property and drug related charges. Davis was arrested for outstanding warrants.

The following items were found in the vehicle: property from at least three SLO home burglaries, 2 and a half ounces of metaphor, a half ounce of heroin, over $3000 in cash, and a stolen hand gun.

The investigation is still ongoing.
