Harris Communications has been providing assistive devices to deaf and hard of hearing people for over 30 years. The new Clarity® Fortissimo™ Extra Loud Remote Controlled Speakerphone was recently added to their product line as a solution specifically for those with moderate to severe hearing loss and limited mobility. The speakerphone has amplification of 90 decibels with an adjustable tone control and extra loud (85 dBSPL) flashing ringer.
For people with limited mobility, the Fortissimo™ features voice-activation and Bluetooth® connectivity for pairing with wireless devices such as headsets and neck loops. It can also be used with air, pillow and pendant switches, allowing users to easily stay connected with friends and family.
The Fortissimo™ has a large color touch screen with easy-to-read font, an illuminated talking keypad with talking Caller ID, and a digital answering machine. While the Fortissimo™ does not come with a handset, up to four handsets can be purchased to use with it.
ClarityLogic™ a feature that enables a Clarity representative to remotely adjust the settings, is available on the Fortissimo™
