Anhydrous Ammonia Leak in Santa Maria

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- An anhydrous ammonia leak happened Thursday night at a commercial produce packing facility in Santa Maria.

The tip was an ammonia odor noticed.

It happened at AgroJal Farms packing plant at 250 N. Kathleen Court.

The business was closed at the time and no employees were on the premises.

A Santa Barbara County Hazardous Materials inspector was notified and the room was ventilated.

No one was hurt.
