Bullet Tax Introduced - KCOY Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo - News

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Legislation has been introduced to put at five cent tax on every bullet sold in California.

It was introduced by Assemblymember Roger Dickinson (D-Sacramento).

The bill would also allocate all revenue from the bullet tax to an existing program that screens young children for mild to moderate mental illnesses.

The program also intervenes to address their problems with strategies.
