Police Chase in Salinas Ends with Crash

SALINAS, Calif. - California Highway Patrol was involved in a chase Friday night in Salinas.

It happened around eight o'clock, and Salinas Police ended up taking over.

The chase ended when the suspect crashed near Rossi and Davis Roads, backing up traffic and creating lines of spectators, trying to see what had just happened.

One person was taken into custody.

No injuries were reported initially and police aren't saying what started the chase.
