Grover Beach City Council Fills Vacant Seat

Posted: Updated:

GROVER BEACH, Calif. - City Manager Bob Perrault tells Central Coast News that  a new city council member has been chosen.

The Grover Beach City Council chose Glenn Marshall to fill the spot.  Marshall currently works as a civil engineer.

The council decided to take action earlier this month after the seat was left vacant when former council member Phyllis Molnar resigned.

The council decided to take applications, rather than hold a special election that would have cost the city up to $30,000 dollars.
