SANTA MARIA - With more than one thousand employees and a global leader in a unique and growing industry, Zodiac Aerospace in Santa Maria has much to show off.
Formerly known as C&D Zodiac, Zodiac Aerospace is one of the leading manufacturers of aircraft interior components in the world.
The company has recently expanded its manufacturing operations in Santa Maria where its hosting an open house Wednesday night.
"We manufacture all the panels that go on the inside of the aircraft including the seats, galleys, lavatories, seat shells and this is all within the Zodiac Group of companies", says CEO Tony Guy, "anytime you board any aircraft in the world there is content from Zodiac Aerospace, some airplanes are 100 percent Zodiac and some airplanes just have a portion."
Hundreds of people are expected to attend the open house at Zodiac Aerospace's sprawling facilities on Airpark Drive near the Santa Maria Airport.
The company will also be presenting a donation check of $2,500 to the Santa Maria Valley Boys and Girls Club.
