SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Charles Manson follower Bruce Davis was granted parole last year after being locked up since 1972 but on Friday, Governor Brown reversed that decision.
Governor Brown says, "I have considered the evidence in the record that is relevant to whether Mr. Davis is currently dangerous. When considered as a whole, I find the evidence I have discussed shows why he currently poses a danger to society if released from prison. Therefore, I reverse the decision to parole Mr. Davis."
Davis is being held at the California Men's Colony after 27 tries at parole.
He was recommended for parole back in January 2010 but it was reversed by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
