SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department needs your help finding a parolee who cut off her GPS tracking device.
Authorities say 19-year-old Angelina Tejeda cut it off around 2:30am Friday morning near her home on the 1100 block of North Oakley Avenue in Santa Maria.
They say Tejeda had been serving time in Santa Barbara County Jail and had just been transferred to the GPS device program before she decided to break the rules.
A warrant has been issued for her arrest. She's been convicted on multiple charges, including falsely impersonating someone else and being under the influence.
Tejeda is described as a Hispanic female, 5'7" tall, weighing about 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. If you see her or have any information on where she may be, contact the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department at (805) 681-4100.
