SLO Police Arrest Woman Suspected of DUI and Crashing into a House

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - SLO Police arrest a woman who slammed her car into another car in a parked driveway. 23 year old Cassandra Cheatham was booked into custody at 11:15pm Wednesday night.

This is what happened according to San Luis Obispo Police:

San Luis Obispo Police Officers responded to a report of a traffic accident with a vehicle colliding into a house at the intersection of Orcutt and Johnson. The investigation revealed that CHEATHAM was driving her vehicle northbound on Orcutt when she veered off the road and struck a curb and small embankment. Her vehicle became airborne, clearing another vehicle that was parked in the driveway, before crashing into the garage. CHEATHAM and her male passenger sustained minor injuries in the collision. The homeowners were fortunately in the rear of the house at the time and uninjured in the collision.

During the subsequent investigation CHEATHAM was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for a felony charge of DUI causing injury. CHEATHAM was transported and booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
