GOLETA, Calif. - Hundreds of Santa Barbara Bank & Trust employees who were laid off may have more luck finding a job, thanks to an upcoming job fair.
The Santa Barbara County Workforce Investment Board, along with Union Bank, is hosting a job fair for bank employees laid off last year. Hundreds of Santa Barbara Bank & Trust employees were laid off in November when the company merged with Union Bank.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 23rd on 1 South Los Carneros Road in Goleta from 1pm to 4pm. It will be held at the Campus Pointe Administration Building in the San Miguel Island Conference Room.
