Steinbeck Library Damaged in Fire

SALINAS, Calif. - A fire started just after 11:00 pm Wednesday night in the bushes outside The Steinbeck Library in Salinas, eventually spreading to the building.

The library is scheduled to be closed until at least Monday. Meanwhile, the fire caused around $35,000 worth of damage, which could take up to 3 months to repair.
