GILROY, Calif.--Gilroy Police have arrested six women, charged with soliciting prostitution.
The Department's Anti-Crime Team conducted an undercover operation arranging to meet them at local motels near Highway 101 and Monterey Road.
Although some of the suspected prostitutes came from as far away as the Bay area and Beverly Hills, they all indicated they were staying in the Gilroy area for quote "business".
The following were arrested: Mallory Osta, Beverly Hills, CA
Lisa Harr, San Jose, CA
Sydney Rodgers, San Jose, CA
Chunmel Zhang, San Gabriel, CA
Quanisha Thomas, Oakland, CA
Aaliyah Islam, Vallejo, CA
All of the suspects were later processed at the Gilroy Police Dept. and released with citations.
