SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Many people are watching the sky, hoping to catch a glimpse of the comet PANSTARRS.
Our Meteorologist Norm Hoffman explains the best areas to get a good view of it. He says that you mainly want to look pretty low on the western horizon.
NASA officials say it should be pretty visible this week, but will begin to fade away slowly.
The comet PANSTARRS was first discovered in June 2011 and is named after the telescope that discovered it in Hawaii.
