Monica Grant Named CEO of San Luis Obispo County YMCA

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Monica Grant has been named the Chief Executive Officer of the San Luis Obispo County YMCA and will begin her new position on May 6.

Grant is replacing the current, CEO, Jenifer Rhynes who will retire on April 1 after working as the San Luis Obispo County YMCA CEO for 11 years.

Grants is currently the Senior Director of Development, Arts Division at the University of California Santa Cruz and serves as the chief development officer for six departments, five research centers and Shakespeare Santa Cruz.

Keith Godfrey, the President of the SLO County YMCA Board of Directors say, "In Monica Grant we have selected a visionary leader who will successfully take our County's YMCA into its next era. We are very fortunate to have found someone of Monica's professional experience and personal value set."
