Cal Poly Police Investigating Vandalism in University Housing

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Cal Poly Police are looking for someone who vandalized some campus housing.

Police say the person, or the group, maliciously tampered with the fire suppression sprinkler head, causing flooding in multiple apartments last Friday night. Four apartments suffered extensive damage and displaced 16 students from their apartments.

They say the suspect used matches to activate the sprinkler head.

Anyone with more information on the suspects is urged to call Cal Poly Police (805) 756-2281.
