PASO ROBLES, Calif. -- Paso Robles Police said a motorcyclist is dead after failing to negotiate a turn then struck a dirt barrier.
The single-vehicle accident happened at 1:16 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of 24th Street and Mountain Springs Road.
Investigators said the driver was ejected from the motorcycle. The driver was pronounced dead at Twin Cities Community Hospital.
The driver was not wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the crash, investigators said.
No word if alcohol or drugs played factors in the crash.
