SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif- An interview between investigators and York that happened about a week after the murder, was shown in court Monday. Frank York is one of the defendants left in the case, alongside his mother Rhonda Wisto.
"After the beating she was already tied up and they put her in the bag, that bag I was telling you about, and Cody and Mike dragged it outside," said Frank York to a SLO County Sheriff Investigator.
In the interview York told investigators details of what happened the night Dystiny Myers was killed, including Myers pleading with Ty Michael Hill for her life. "Mike what the hecks going on? I'm sorry, I'm sorry!," York told investigators. In the interview York said he walked into his bedroom after Myers had been beaten and reluctantly went along with it, asking Hill very few questions.
According to the interview York decided to do what he was told and got in the front of Rhonda Wistos truck after Myers was put in the bed of the truck. He sat in the front. "'Cause I get sick when I'm in the back, I'll get car sick of from blood, 'cause I don't like to see blood a lot," said York to investigators.
York also explained that Hill was talking about Myers being disrespectful, which is a recurring theme in this murder trial.
