Update: Reports of a Man With a Gun Prompts School Lockdown

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Pioneer Valley High School was placed on lockdown around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

According to the principal, it lasted 11 minutes. Santa Maria Police tell Central Coast News they received reports that there was a man with a gun nearby, but it turned out to be a false alarm.
