Women Arrested For Vandalizing Several Cars in Orcutt

Posted: Updated:

ORCUTT, Calif. - Authorities arrested two women for vandalizing several cars in the Orcutt area.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies say 22-year-old Megan Lagua of Santa Maria and 18-year-old Alyssa Saucedo of Guadalupe sprayed cars with a chemical that caused the paint to bubble.  It happened to at least six cars near Patterson and Bradley late Monday night.

Officials believe one of the cars was targeted and the others were randomly chosen.

Both women were booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on $20,000 dollars bail.

Detectives believe there may be more victims out there.  If you notice paint peeling off your car and you live near where these incidents were reported, call them at (805) 934-6150.
