Dystiny Myers Murder Trial: Guilty Verdicts Reached

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Guilty verdicts have been reached in the Dystiny Myers murder trial.

A jury has found Frank York guilty of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Jurors found the allegations of kidnapping and torture to be true.

Rhonda Wisto has been found guilty of murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Jurors found a special circumstance of murder involving torture to be true and murder during kidnapping to be true.

According to San Luis Obispo County Assistant District Attorney Timothy Covello, both York and Wisto will be sentenced on May 8.

15-year-old Dystiny Myers' burned body was found in a shallow grave east of Highway 58 in Santa Margarita on Sept. 26, 2010.
